Well, well, well….. not exactly! I’m here to write for YOU ladies! This was probably the hardest part of creating this blog was actually coming up with the first official post! I figured I should introduce myself and give y’all a little glimpse about who I am and what I’m about.
I’m Jenna Camille Burns but since I just got married to my amazing husband Conrad I’m now Mrs. Quinter! I started Self Made Babes because I did a challenge in 2017 that inspired me to go down a marketing path and learn how to build a Shopify store. The name stuck with me for years and I realized this could be bigger. I love hearing stories from women about their journey of discovering what success is through their travels of the deep valleys to reach and rise to the top of the mountains. Being a Self Made Babe isn’t about doing things by yourself but knowing that starting a business can sometimes be a lonely road and you need to meet other successful ladies who can support you through your journey. What makes me a self made babe? Well, I’m still on my path discovering that each step I take is all part of my master blueprint of my life. You all literally can grow as I grow because I’m going to teach you everything I’m learning along my way. I’m a 33 year-old award-winning app creator and entrepreneur, speaker, & business coach. My friends say I’m the queen when it comes to connecting people. I have consulted CEO’s, Politicians, and Business Owners.
Combining my grit with perseverance and hard work with dedication…is how I was raised. I was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming but I grew up on a peach orchard in a small town in East Texas called Hawkins. I’m seen as a visionary and pioneer in the sales & digital marketing world. My creative thought process has parked my burning desire to deliver a revolutionary platform with a focus on branding, marketing, and social media for Self Made entrepreneurs eager to connect and take their business to the next level. My love for marketing and sales constantly pushes me to implement new ideas and to find what converts so I can help more people like you, babe. You aren’t alone. I want to be your business bestie.
Since the age of 8, I have had an entrepreneurial attitude by selling anything I could find or make like lemonade door to door with my little red wagon.
As I grew, so did my curiosity for creation. A graduate of Arizona State University, my expertise is in driving revenue growth through targeted strategies built on solid industry knowledge and a deep commitment to achieving each person’s goals. I’m a expert when it comes to startup life. When I was 22 I was working for a former Marine who graduated from Princeton and Harvard and quickly learned what it took to run a busy company. While working for the car startup also known as Local Motors I came up with an idea for the tech team to create a speaking page for the entire c-suite to get booked for keynotes. It generated over $500,000 each year.
When I was 25 I won Start Up Weekend with my app concept, beating the other 80 people who entered. I spearheaded the launch of multiple car retail stores and car factories. I even opened a pop up shop on the grounds of the White House in DC. It was created from a shipping container!
What makes me a born leader is my natural ability to configure a team of individuals for any task. I’m passionate about identifying areas of improvement and working with teams to continuously innovate business practices through sales, events, and marketing. My effort shows through driving growth and generating solid profit margins.
My passion comes from the struggle and many adversities. Without sounding like I’m bragging during this entire post… I know exactly what it’s like to not have a path and have just yourself to rely on. Most people don’t know where to start and have to figure it all out along the way. I can relate to working two to three jobs at a time and having businesses succeed and fail. My passion lies strongly within business strategy – not just making an idea come to life, but making sure the idea sells.
Going through this journey is what has helped me discover my own “JQHQ.” Step inside my world and I will help you take massive action towards your goals. You don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
